Hi all, last week I upgraded my system from RedHat 7.0 (Kernel 2.2.18) to RedHat 7.1 (Kernel 2.4.2). I have now problems working with my irda port. I'm using an self-made adapter which is connected directly to the mainboard. It uses the modul: irtty. When I start the irda tools, it shows no errors. There is even activity on the adapter (I have an activity led). But I can't read anything from the port. I have checked the interrupts, tried it with the modul irport instead of irtty. But nothing worked. When I switched back to 2.2.18, everything works fine. So the question is, what has been changed in the irda-code from kernel 2.2 to 2.4 ?
