I have been struggling for couples of days now trying to make the ACTiSYS
cards talking to one another, using 2.4.2 kernel. I have tried the
following:
> findchip -v
Found NSC PC87108 Controller at 0x150, DevID=0x01, Rev. 0
SIR Base 0x3e8, FIR Base 0x3e8
IRQ = -1, DMA = -1
Enabled: no, Suspended: yes
UART compatible: yes
Half duplex delay = 0 us
...
So I issued the next commands, assuming that it uses int 4:
> modprobe nsc-ircc io=0x3e8 irq=4 dma=0 dongle_id=0x09
> irattach irda0
> irdadump
And there is no action.
If anyone out there has successfully installed this card, I would appreciate
some pointers.
