Hi, I have TI Extensa 900CDT with the NSC PC87338 IrDA chipset.
When trying to load the nsc-ircc module (kernel 2.2.18pre21), I get the
following message: "nsc-ircc, Wrong chip version 14"
findchip -v says:
reg=0x010
Found NSC PC87338 Controller at 0x2e, DevID=0x0b, Rev. 1
SIR Base 0x2f8, FIR Base 0x2f8
IRQ = 0, DMA = 3
Enabled: yes, Suspended: no
UARD compatible: yes
Half duplex delay = 0 us
Is the version of the chip simply too old for the driver? Would making it work
be hard?
Dagfinn
PS: Please CC me on replys, I'm not on the list
