I still have to use a patched version of the smc-ircc driver because
the Compac Armada bios maps the chip to IO address, 0x00E0 is it possible to
use that driver?
(or at least, add the base address table as specifiable to the arguments
list?)
Alas I have the driver on my notebook which is in my office.
As well as to add 2 entries for the newer chip to the recognision table.
(being able to specify SIR & FIR address is not really helpfull)
The patched driver is from the archives on this list (some where January)
