I'm using Debian Woody in a Thinkpad 380ED with 2.4.7 kernel. I finally
managed to connect with my Palm IIIxe using SIR mode. However, sometimes
(abot 1:5) the sync becomes very slow. For example, pilot-xfer -l
usually takes about 30 seconds, in this ocasional syncs it takes near 5
minutes.

I read in the Infrared HOWTO something about timeout problems with the
CS4232 sound chip, which my Laptop uses. How can I rule out this
problem, or even better, correct my problems?

TIA
