[EMAIL PROTECTED] said: > The infos available on http://newsletter.toshiba-tro.de/main/main/ > OMC.htm are not trustable. They say about Libretto 100 "IrDA: SIR > 16550A (ISA) ?" as for Libretto 50. In fact it is a Toshoboe (PCI)
The IrDA chip inside the Libretto 50CT cannot possibly be a PCI device on account of the total lack of a PCI bus inside the Libretto 50CT. The Libretto 50CT is definitely at 16550A SIR based thing. The Libretto 100CT does have a PCI bus, and is likely to be a Toshoboe device. > anyone have any luck with a Toshiba 210CT? according to Tosh, is a SIR > 16550A (ISA) ? as well I presume you mean a Satellite 210CT, then this is indeed a 16550A based SIR devicem. Again there is no sign of a PCI bus anywhere in this laptop. JAB. -- Jonathan A. Buzzard Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Northumberland, United Kingdom.
