It's ok, it's not like there are a thousand files to
download. Use lynx...
My patches end up in the kernel with a pretty good reliability
and therefore tend to expire quicly. I don't know if they are even
worth keeping. On the other hand, it's good to keep the changelog.
When you are ready, ask me and I'll send you the last few
batches...

First : keep up the good work !

I had mostly one objection regarding the mailing list :
http://www.pasta.cs.uit.no/pipermail/linux-irda/2001-November/003376.html

I've got also another objection, which is that in the contact
section, you offer to send a e-mail to the developper. That's ok, but
in most case, I would prefer people to go first to my home page,
because there is plenty of good info there, because I could redirect
them to the prefered way to contact me, and also because that may
filter some crap out of my mailbox and force people to send to the
list instead.
The other solution of course is to remove the whole section ;-)

        My page :
http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_Tourrilhes/IrDA/IrDA.html

        Dag's page :
http://www.brattli.net/dag/

Then, in your download section, you have a very old copy of
irda-usb (it has been in the kernel for a while).

The last problem concern the Sourceforge stuff.
A lot of people will end up on this page :
                http://sourceforge.net/projects/irda/
From this page, they can't access the mailing list :
                http://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=5616
This is bad. They end up looking around, posting a few
messages on the forums and go back disapointed.
Also, it's usually polite to offer a link from the pages back
to the sourceforge project (like adding a link to
http://sourceforge.net/projects/irda/ in the "About" section of the
site).

        Have fun...

        Jean
