There was a message by Paul Hampson on 18 Oct about using the SMC chip on a Sat Pro 4600, but he apparently still had problems. Has anyone made any more progress on this issue? Is there a known way to use SIR or FIR on the Sat Pro with Linux. I am on a 2.4.x kernel (where x is 7, I think -- whatever shipped with RH 7.2). Thanks, Bill
