Ok I've tried this. And it basically hangs there and waits forever. According
to irdadump, it doesn't actually send any data until I press ctrl-c.

Any idea? If cat-ing to /dev/irlpt0 should work, then maybe my setup is wrong?
(BTW obex sending and receiving files is working well on that laptop)

Ok, one funny thing is, I've got a debian and a redhat system, both of them
don't have irlpt module but only ircomm. And according to the ir-howto it's saying
ircomm replaced irlpt, so is that true?

        Thanks a lot! :)
