Maybe it's not broken.  I didn't realize when I sent that message that I
wasn't putting the transceiver module in FIR mode.  Sorry for the confusion.
I'll try it when I get a chance.

        Bug in the driver. It pretend to support 4Mb/s, but doesn't do it
properly.
