Hi,

I discovered how to set the ALi 1533 bridge to decode ports 0x130 and
0x178. Strangely they are both enabled by the same bit. That gave me the
opportunity to jump to the new glittering 0.2 version number ;-)

That said I would ask some questions about Linux IrDA SMC support.
So far I haven't been able to test my smc IrDA chip at FIR speeds
excepting the T39m phone which is known not to work with Linux IrDA
stack. Is the smc-ircc module working at those speeds?
However one of the next days I might try to find some other laptop to
test high speeds.
More in general I wonder what does it means "SMC needs a mantainer" as
found in Jean_Tourrilhes's pages?
I've also tried the Open Obex tools with my Palm m100 but they just
succedeed in sending files. In no way I could receive files beamed to my
laptop by either the palm or my phone.

Bye,
Daniele
