Hi, I've just sent two patches for Linux-2.3.24 over to Alan, so please try them out (you need both). In particular, I need some feedback on the Airport dongle (Fons). The Airport dongle is probably broken, but I cannot fix it anymore myself now. These patches fixes irport, and the litelink dongle. It also removes uircc but keeps smc-ircc (still broken). I decided to keep the smc-ircc driver after-all, since I probably will have access to this chip by next week. One thing, for this release you need to add some stuff to /etc/conf.modules: alias irda-dongle-0 tekram alias irda-dongle-1 esi alias irda-dongle-2 actisys alias irda-dongle-3 actisys alias irda-dongle-4 girbil alias irda-dongle-5 litelink alias irda-dongle-6 airport So now the kernel does not understand much about each dongle, which is the correct thing, so you must tell which dongle you really want to use. The numbers matches the enum in linux/include/linux/irda.h. Thanks to the person who told me to fix this stuff ;-) Have fun! -- Dag -- / Dag Brattli | The Linux-IrDA Project / // University of Tromsoe, Norway | Infrared communication for Linux // /// http://www.cs.uit.no/~dagb | http://www.cs.uit.no/linux-irda/ /// _______________________________________________ Linux-IrDA mailing list - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www4.pasta.cs.UiT.No/mailman/listinfo/linux-irda
