Oh, I should also mention my discovery settings.
I have discovery slots set to 6, and the slot time out set to 3.

Also, i have found that even though the Pilot pops up with that 
"Waiting for Sender" message, I can still send it something using 
irobex_palm3 without having to click away that message first.
