Hi,

Please test out the new irda-utils which you can find at:

        http://www.cs.uit.no/linux-irda/irda-utils/

Changes:

o Fixed irattach to work correctly with the latest 2.3.x kernels and 2.2.13
patches. You can now (s)tart discovery by using option -s 1 (since -d is
already taken for specifying a dongle)

o OBEX has been removed from irda-utils. Will become its own distribution
  shortly

So if you are using patch-2.2.13-irda3, you should now start irattach like
this:
        irattach /dev/ttyS<x> -s 1

if you have a dongle then:

        irattach /dev/ttyS<x> -s 1 -d <dongle>

Irmanger is not needed for the latest patch, except if you are using
IrLAN. IrLAN needs however to be fixed a bit but this is still on the TODO
list.
