Hi,
I've just fixed a bug in Linux-2.2.13-irda3 which made it impossible to
make a connection from a Palm III to Linux (the other way still works
fine). Other devices will work, but that is only because they don't follow
the IrDA spec as closely as the Palm III ;-) Probably took me about 10
hours of continous debugging to find it. Need to be more careful with
changes to IrLAP in future ;-)
You may also get into strange situations if you don't have discovery
enabled in Linux-2.2.13-irda3, since IrLAP may get stuck in the wrong
speed. If you do this, then you can fix it by enabling discovery again ;-)
I have fixed all these bugs in my local tree, so a new patch should be
underway ASAP.
