    I'm using RH 6.0 and the my ifconfig is from net-tools-1.51-3.
    The net-tools RPM from RH 6.1 will probably work fine in 6.0
    as well.

    Yes, 'cat /dev/irlpt_server". Anyway, 'irdadump -x' doesn't
    seem to reveal any of the text in the SMS message I'm printing
    so that makes me wonder whether the phone really sent the data
    at all. It does, however, report that the printing went OK.
