Hi all,

my setup :

1. Dell CPtC400, RedHat 6.0, 2.2.13, patch-2.2.13-irda9,
irda-utils-0.9.5
2. Palm V with OS 3.3

goal : sync over IR, either with pilot-xfer or jpilot (preferred).
the same sync over a normal serial port works fine.

Problem : everything I try get blocked by "port busy" kind of errors
when I start the sync tools.

Details :

- in the PC BIOS : IR enabled / slow mode / port com2 / irq3.
- Windows 98 find it and can communicate with the Palm.
- Beam receive disabled on the Palm preferences.
- same results when my PCMCIA card is out of the slot
