Hi, the German computer magazin offers an article about "PC and Infared Support" (mostly about MS-Windows9x/NT) in it's current issue CT 20/1999 110ff. , same URL as mentioned in a thread before about the German magazine iX http://www.heise.de This article points to a link about the description of a self made infrared motherboard adapter http://home.t-online.de/home/Rainer.Brang as far as I can see, this intended for use with remote controls but IrDA is mentioned, too. Since this adapters are often difficult to buy and expensive I suppose this is of some interest to you. BTW: There is mentioned a cheap trick to check wether a IR LED is emitting light or not by using a CCD camera (Videokamera / PC Kamera / Chip-Kamera) Quoting Dag: "Just use http://babelfish.altavista.com, to read an English version. Does not translate the whole document tho'" Cheers -werner- -- Werner Heuser | Stop nuclear power now! /~~ LiLAC - Linux with Laptop Computers | /~~~ Berlin, Germany | /~~~~ http://www.snafu.de/~wehe/index_li.html T. +49 30 349 53 86 _______________________________________________ Linux-IrDA mailing list - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www4.pasta.cs.UiT.No/mailman/listinfo/linux-irda
