OK OK, I'm sorry for sounding so slow but I'm still learning all this Linux stuff. I'm running Linux PPC Q3 on a rev A iMac. I have downloaded irda_utils0.9.4 and tried to 'make' however my system didn't have alot of stuff installed so after getting bin_utils2.9.5.0.14.-0a.ppc to get cpp-2.95.1-0a.ppc and final gcc-2.95.1-0a.ppc installed irda utils make still complains that there is no such file or directory. Can anyone help. You also told me previously that the bits need compiling into the Kernel. How do you do that??
