Hi,
I'm just recently starting to use the IrDA code. I've tried several
levels of code with different levels of success. To make a 'clean'
start, I decided to download kernel 2.2.14, the latest irda-utils and de
2.2.14-irda1 kernelpatch.
Without the kernel-patch, everything compiles, and I'm able to use
infrared in a (limited) way. Then I decided to apply the 2.2.14-irda1
patch, to make sure I use the latest code. The patching process,
however, results in several errors:
the patch command I use is:
cd /usr/src/linux
patch -p 1 -l -F 3 < patch-2.2.14-irda1
which results in several hunks being rejected....
Hmm... Looks like a unified diff to me...
