Hi

After a little hacking, I finally managed to break the 400 Kbytes/s speed
barrier running FTP over IrLAN.

In the test, I was running Linux (primary) using the NSC driver, (4Mbps
FIR) against the Clarinet EthIR switch (secondary) and transferring a 36
Mbytes file from Linux to another Linux machine which was attached on the
other side of the EthIR switch using 100 Mbps Ethernet.

To make it possible to go from 387 Kbytes/s to 400 Kbytes/s, I had to lower
the min turn time on both devices from 1 ms to 100 us.

Cheers
