Oops, thanks for correcting me on the ifconfig Dag, I've tried so many
things I was purely at the experimental stage by late last night (:
As you say, if I set up my "alias irda0 ..." properly in /etc/modules the
whinge goes away (I was loading the module manually anyway).
Dag - I guess you have the chip in the Sony covered - is there any more
interesting info I could extract from my system for you for the hardware
survey?
