I successfully connnected my Linux Desktop PC and my Casio E15G PDA (a WinCE P/PC) using PPP. The connection was done using a IR motherboard adapter (Actisys IR210L) at an ASUS P3B-F MB. This is the commandline I used: ppp ircomm0 115200 nocrtscts connect 'chat "CLIENT" "CLIENTSERVER"' (of course I started irattach & irmanager before) Now I would like to do more with IR, like sending/receiving files, exchanging contacts, etc. Especially, what do I need to do to get IrLAN working. (Yes, I might want to write some software) The question is, what do I need to know about all that ? What should I read ? Are the different IrDA standards/specification a good starting point ?
