I used to do that with an old irda stack (and I had to slightly modify
irpsion5 to make it work), but the last times I tried it, it was impossible to
du a Linux -> psion transfer (the psion reboots immediately). If you can do it
(with a plain series 5, or with the s5 irda-update 1.00), I am very interested
by the different tool versions you use.

Again, plptools worked fine over a cable, but over IrComm, I had serious
reliability problems (I loose the connection after less than a minute of
transfer). I didn't try ppp over IrComm...

I once tried (still with old IrDA tools) to use the Linux box as a IrLPT server,
and it worked great !

Thanks for any advice !
