Hi there,
I'm having problems again. I have smc-ircc loaded, with
IrDA (tm) Protocols for Linux-2.2 (Dag Brattli)
SMC IrDA Controller found; IrCC version 1.1, port 0x100, dma=3, irq=4
IrDA: Registered device irda0
in dmesg, but I'm not having anything displayed on irdadump.
I echoed 1 to /proc/sys/net/irda/discovery
I didn't call irattach, nor irmanager.
I can't make irmanager modprobe smc-ircc directly, because first I need to
rmmod serial. So I rmmod serial, modprobe smc-ircc and modprobe serial
again. Otherwise the smc-ircc module won't find the chip.
I'm using 2.2.15 and irda-utils-0.9.10 from RH 6.2.
The modules loaded related to irda are:
smc-ircc 5068 0 (unused)
irport 4372 0 [smc-ircc]
irda 74401 2 [smc-ircc irport]
Any tips?
