Hi all, A friend of mine is considering buying the phone mentioned in the subject line, but has a few concirns regarding compatibility with Linux / IrDA. On the WWW-pages, the phone is described as supported, but the description includes the "old" irnine-setup. I was wondering if anyone would offer their opinions on this phone to the list / to me - is the phone still known to be supported and are there any tweaks he should be aware of? In particular, if anyone has experiences (good or bad) on using the phone via a serial cable (which may or may not be an accessory?) rather than via the IrDA-eye? Does this phone suffer from the same as the Ericsson SH888's and communicate using IrDA even over the cable?
