I am finally running 2.4.0-test1 on both my laptop and desktop.... (I
really should get another ethernet card for my laptop, null modem cables
suck!)
After patching both machines with Jeans patch.
I have tried establishing a link using:
pppd /dev/irnet local noauth
on both sides.
Both report each other as discovering the other and catting /dev/irnet
proves that but the ppps link will not set up it keeps timing out?
I have also tried specifying the ip's of the machines I want ppp0 to be
set up with but still no luck ;-(
I can use Ircomm and mgetty to connect using minicom from the laptop to
the desktop and vice versa!
Any ideas or kicks in the teeth will be greatly appreciated!
