        Hi,

I also bought a couple of USB dongle from your company and
Actisys. Under Windows, they are wonderful, I really love the Plug and
Play, the speed and the price. However they are pretty useless under
Linux so far.
That's quite a shame, because they have the potential to solve
95% of our hardware problem. One single USB driver, and we won't have
to suffer all this problem of getting the SMC, NSC, Tosh or whatever
weird FIR chipset to work.
The good news is that the specs are public :
                http://www.usb.org/developers/data/devclass/usbir10.pdf
I believe both the ESI and Actisys dongle follows the spec
(hey, their name are in the credit list), and the spec is quite well
made.

Dag told me that he has a USB dongle. But the todo list of Dag
is long like the chinese wall. For myself, I'm busy, so I don't make
any promises. Other people have made vague promises in exchange of
hardware, but nothing so far.
So, anybody willing to take on that ?

        Jean
