Ahem... Shame on me. The patch is already included in toshoboe-2.x, and
has in fact been since April !
I naively underestimated the time it takes for the changes to be committed
into the kernel sources, and thought linux-2.2.16 had a fairly (r|d)ecent
IrDA patchlevel... Obviously this is not the case.

So in fact all the people having a Type-DO chip in their laptop (recent Toshiba
Tecras, Satellite 4200 and 4300 series) should just have to patch their kernel
against toshoboe-2.12 (lastest patch), and things should run smoothly, thanks
to James...

Sorry for trying to reinvent the wheel ! :-/

Best regards,

Bruno
