Are the test6 patches required for irda to work at all in test8?
I have a sony vaio laptop and a ESI neteye irda dongle on my pc. I built
2.4.0test8 on both machines, and insmodded various modules... ifconfiged
"irda" up on my pc, ifconfig irda0 up on the laptop, gave them ips....
I can ping the pc from the laptop, but not vice versa, and the pings do
not return.

Both machines seem to be running at 9600 baud... is there a reason for
this? (I configured the Ultra protocol in...)
