Hi!

There are two possibilities to answer my question:

1) tell me how to rebuild the irda-modules easily,
   if I stand in /usr/src/linux/net/irda/ircomm.
   Then I could (perhaps) find it out by myself...

2) this is my problem:
   I have a handy, which has been recognized in /proc/net/irda/discovery
   Then I start e.g. kermit and type:
   SET LINE /dev/ircomm0
   SET SPEED 9600
   SET MODEM TYPE UNKNOWN
   DIAL 12345678

   Then I got in /var/log/debug:
   ircomm_tty_attach_cable()
   ircomm_tty_ias_register()

   and that's all ;(
   I've tried this also with a Siemens S35 which dials at least
   (I have no hint, what to do after dialing, but that's not the
        problem at the moment:)

Any hints? Thanks a lot!

flo
