        In that case, using Linux-IrDA is not really an option. The
patches for 2.2.13 are called patch-2.2.14 and patch-2.2.15, and may
be found at ftp.kernel.org.

        In the 2.2.X series, my favorite is 2.2.15. I've personally
tested it, it's stable and works well. I believe that kernels later
than that (2.2.16, 2.2.17 and 2.2.18) are equally good, but I've not
tested them. Anything earlier than 2.2.15 will give you only pain...
        If you use 2.2.15 or later, you may have a look at some quick
instructions on how to set it up which are buried in my IrNET for
Linux web page.
