Hi all, I'm now configuring the IrDA on my Assabet board, I compiled the kernel with the following config: CONFIG_IRDA=y CONFIG_IRLAN=m CONFIG_IRCOMM=y # CONFIG_IRDA_ULTRA is not set CONFIG_IRDA_OPTIONS=y # CONFIG_IRDA_CACHE_LAST_LSAP is not set CONFIG_IRDA_FAST_RR=y and installed irda-utils(irattach /dev/ttyS2 in/etc/irda/drivers). After boot, I run "irmanager -d 1", it prints: IrDA: Registered device irda I dont know what this message mean, but the IrDA seems to work because it can discover my Nokia 8210: >cat /proc/net/irda/discovery nickname: Nokia 8210, hint: 0xb125, saddr: 0x162ccf47, daddr: 0xea140000 but when I run "irdaping 0xea140000", it shows: socket: Address family not supported by protocol Why? Can anybody help me? Thanks, Yang Xiao peng _______________________________________________ Linux-IrDA mailing list - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.pasta.cs.UiT.No/mailman/listinfo/linux-irda
