Get a 2.4.0-test11 kernel which has most patches applied: The test10 is
broken. Also apply
ftp://irda.sourceforge.net/pub/irda/patches/patch-2.4.0-test11-pre6-irda2

You applied an old patch which was for an old kernel version. Somebody
else also patched the kernel and that patch got included into test10. Two
functions called module_init() exist. Get test11.
