Hi,

had the same problems with Debian 2.2 and any IrDA Version I'd tried. Inserting
the module per "insmod" with parameters to be more verbous could help to find
the problem.
In my case something with the chip recognition in the described software
combination with my hardware (sony vaio c1xd) doesn#t work, even some other users had
none the problems.
Now I'd changed distribution to SuSE 7.0 and everything's working fine!!! Don't
ask me why ;-)
