uname -a shows:
Linux newclint 2.1.130 #6 SMP Sat Nov 28 17:51:16 MET 1998 i686

The machine is running an older version of the isdn4k utils, from the
2.0.35 kernel. On the 2.0.35 kernel everything works perfect, but on the
2.1.130 kernel it only works on the first dialout attempt. After the first
dialout attempt, the system will autodial when needed, the connection will
be established, but will be useless. Manually adding routes etc doesn't
seem to work.

So, I tried to install isdn4k-utils-3.0beta1.
While running the 2.1.130 kernel (without any patches), "make config"
doesn't complain, but when I try "make":

isdnctrl.c:446: warning: #warning ISDN_NET_DM_OFF not defined? Old
isdn4kernel?
isdnctrl.c: In function `do_dialmode':
isdnctrl.c:545: structure has no member named `dialmode'
isdnctrl.c: At top level:
isdnctrl.c:525: warning: `do_dialmode' defined but not used
make[1]: *** [isdnctrl.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/isdn4k-utils-3.0beta1/isdnctrl'
make: *** [subtargets] Error 2

A gcc --version shows:
2.7.2.3

Cheers,

Kenneth
