Hi, I downloaded ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/isdn4linux/v2.1/isdn.tar.gz which contains a current version of the ISDN drivers which also includes the FRITZ/PCI stuff. After appling the updates to /usr/src/linux/.... I recompiled the kernel and get the following during boot-up: <5>ISDN subsystem Rev: 1.71/1.61/1.82/1.45/1.12/1.2 <6>HiSax: Linux Driver for passive ISDN cards <6>HiSax: Version 3.1a (kernel) <6>HiSax: Layer1 Revision 2.31 <6>HiSax: Layer2 Revision 2.16 <6>HiSax: TeiMgr Revision 2.11 <6>HiSax: Layer3 Revision 2.8 <6>HiSax: LinkLayer Revision 2.25 <6>HiSax: Approval certification valid <6>HiSax: Approved with ELSA Quickstep series cards <6>HiSax: Approval registration numbers: <6>HiSax: German D133361J CETECOM ICT Services GmbH <6>HiSax: EU (D133362J) CETECOM ICT Services GmbH <7>HiSax: Total 1 card defined <6>HiSax: Card 1 Protocol EDSS1 Id=HiSax (0) <6>HiSax: AVM PCI driver Rev. 1.6 <6>AVM PCI: stat 0x3020a <6>AVM PCI: Class A Rev 2 <6>HiSax: AVM Fritz!PCI config irq:10 base:0xF400 <6>AVM PCI: ISAC version (0): 2086/2186 V1.1 <6>AVM Fritz PnP/PCI: IRQ 10 count 0 <6>AVM Fritz PnP/PCI: IRQ 10 count 3 <6>HiSax: DSS1 Rev. 2.12 <6>HiSax: 2 channels added Unfortunatly I don't know what to do next to get the card running, but it seems to be correct loaded by the kernel. Going back to kernel 2.0.36 and using the PnP/PCI Fritz driver fixed things. I'm not even going to ask why 2.0.36 has newer ISDN drivers than 2.2.1 :-) -- Ian Lynagh - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.lynagh.demon.co.uk/ If you can't baffle them with brilliance, befuddle them with bull.
