Hi.

Since about a week or so, I've been using isdn compression and it works
great. But after I have connected to the internet my /var/log/boot.log is
empty and the command dmesg displays the following:

lzsComp: repeated incompressible frames
lzsComp: repeated incompressible frames
lzsDecomp: uncompressed frame passed through
lzsComp: repeated incompressible frames
lzsDecomp: uncompressed frame passed through
lzsComp: repeated incompressible frames
lzsDecomp: uncompressed frame passed through

and so on.

Why is my boot log erased. I know these are kernel messages, but why aren't
they put in some other log file?

Grtz Gerben.
