I tested with your config: -no-kvm -cpu Broadwell-noTSX -M q35 and still don't see any boot warnings. This is QEMU emulator version 2.9.1(qemu-2.9.1-2.fc26) If you're on an older version it may be already fixed in qemu then. -Andi
