if I fork Linus GitHub repo to  My GitHub repo , and then made change on
it, does it work??? I mean this the way ...or some other way???

Also, it seems clear that you didn't try to build the docs afterward.

I have tried to run on local tree ../../scripts/kernel-doc -rst "thae changed file"
