Minor: I don't see much upside in extracting the shared unknown_ioctl_cmd variable here; if we used the 0xc00ffeee literally in the ioctl_error() call here, it would be clearer in this test how the test's stimulus of calling ioctl() with 0xc00ffeee related to the expected output, without having to do that side-lookup.
