We generally pick -rc3 as the merge base for all topic branches, so
something -rc{1,2,3} are ideal. If you depend on something that is in
a further -rc, we can manage. But keep in mind that around -rc6, the
tree is closed to new features and becomes fixes only. So if you find
yourself basing something on -rc5, you're already playing with fire.
