Certainly works on 380D/ED; I have heard that it also works on 380XD.
You need to compile the kernel with APM_NOINTS undef'd to use recent
BIOSs (and some IBM machines only have recent BIOSs).

Yes, 'fraid so.  There are conflicting reports about whether it works with
FAT32 but it certainly works with standard FAT.  You need to use IBM's
DOS-based utility PS2.exe (either that or the Win or OS/2 GUI utilities)
to create a hibernation file on the FAT partition if you want to use the
hibernation feature.  You also have to use this utility to change the setup
of your hardware (I/O ports, parallel port, suspend timer, etc).

All the rest of your partitions can of course be ext2 ones.
