ViRGE MX+MV

My laptop has an S3 ViRGE MX+MV 4MB graphics card. It seems this is a
quite recent card and about the only S3 NOT supported explicitly by anyone
!!!

I can get away with using the XF86_S3 server but with the noaccel option.
This means the machine (whilst having quite a nice processor) has poor,
thats a bit of an understatement, graphics performace.

Anyone else with this experience or any advise ????
