it's generally more difficult to speed up laptops than desktop computers
because of the small size. all the parts of the laptop are engineered
specially to fit together.
but afaik, there is a company somewhere which is specialized in upgrading
laptops in regard of processor speed (they replace the processor with a
faster one and do some other things to keep the cooling limit). i don't know
more.
another possibility could be to upgrade memory.
