Hi,

on my new HP Omnibook 4150 (366 MHz model) when accessing /proc/apm
I get the following kernel fault:

This is on a RH5.2 system and kernel 2.2.1. The call tarce is:

apm_bios_call
apm_get_power_status
apm_get_info
proc_file_read
sys_read

The 2.2.1 kernel detects the apm bios:

apm: BIOS version 1.2 Flags 0x03 (Driver version 1.9)

I tried also a 2.0.36 kernel but that kernel faulted already during bootup
when detecting the apm bios! Btw, on an Omnibook 4150 (300 MHz model) apm
under 2.0.36 worked fine.

Help very much appreciated.

Cheers, Fons Rademakers.
