My laptop keeps hanging when using the a 3CFE575B ethernet card in a 100
mbps network. It used to work fine when we only had 10 mbps ethernet.
Everything, including my mouse freezes and the only way I can recover from
the freeze is to hard eject the card from the machine.....

I have to reset the clocks after the freeze....

The error msg from syslogd is:
kernel: eth0: Too much work in interrupt, status e481. Temporarily
disabling functions (7b7e)

Has anyone else come accross something like this? Are there bug fixes for
3c575_cb?

My configuration is as follows:

IBM ThinkPad 600
Red Hat 5.1
Linux Kernel 2.0.36
PCMCIAL Services 3.0.9

The card is registered at the following io/mem/iterrupts:

fn 0 bar 1: io 0x280 - 0x2ff
fn 0 bar 2: mem 0xa0061000 - 0xa006107f
fn 0 bar 3: mem 0xa0060000 - 0xa006007f
fn 0 rom: mem 0xa0040000 - 0xa005ffff

vortex_attach( bus 4, cunction 0, device 5157)
eth0: 3Com 3CCFE575 Cyclone Cardbus at 0x280, ....., IRQ 3

Any help would be really appreciated....
Thanks,

DS
