Hi there,

I'm about to install Linux onto my IBM ThinkPad 765D onto a spare 3Gb drive
(my normal work stuff is IBM's y2k compatible version of Win 95 on a 5gig
drive). I have a number of distributions, including RH5.2 (which I run on a
P150 at home), SlackWare, Debian and a few others which came on a set of
CheapBytes CDs. I'll probably stick with RH unless there'sgood reason to
run one of the others.

Anything in particular I should be aware of before I install Linux? Which
is the best distro as far as this machine goes? All replies/opinions welcome.

TIA

franko
