Redhat 6.0 automatically loads PCMCIA support for supported cards, but then does not tell you how to get networking started. After much trial and assistance from this list I found that Redhat has a GUI program to do this. It is netcfg. With a PCMCIA card netcfg will come up with a eth0 line and it set to inactive. Activate it and enter your IP information. This configures everything correctly. Do NOT use linuxconf as it wants you to select a kernel module to associate eth0 with and it is already done it the background. Chris D.
