Has anyone got any idea on when the token ring problem will be fixed?
I've only heard vague references to there being a problem, not any sort
of description of what the problem is - it only seems to affect pcmcia
cards though, not desktops (we have 2.2.x machines here running with
both Madge and IBM cards without problems).

My laptop dies entirely if I try to connect it's pcmcia token ring card
to my work's network though (which is frustrating to say the least - the
only dial-in access to my work is via an NT machine and getting linux to
talk to that is a headache!!)

cheers

Jules
